okay, so i wasn't/am not a crazed royal wedding fan...

however, kate looked absolutely STUNNING!

the dress, the hair, the jewels, everything, amazing.

this, ladies and gentlemen, is why every girl wants to be a princess.

and at any other occasion, this delicious man would've stolen the show.

seriously, how is one man so good looking?!

oh yeah, and posh, not your best look my dear.

i'm not just saying that because i'm in love with your husband either.

getting ready to read a few chapters of my book...

after i finish looking at wedding pics on the ipad.

this is called making good use of your down time when you're a single mom....

which i officially am until july 3rd.

have i mentioned how, 2 days into it, i already despise this play.

*got these, in white, from the e.b. and LOVE them.
i can't handle little ear buds in my ear,
so these mamma jammas are going to be awesome to run with.
time to crank up the tunage and get my 5k on.

*not that i needed anymore treats this weekend,
but had this for dessert on sunday.
best. coconut. cake. ever.
i seriously think i ate half the cake.

*still want these.
have them in this color,
but have wanted the yellow for over year.
rainy days like today make me want to work the wellie.
that could be taken in so many directions.

really enjoyed them all,
but wished they would've ended different.
maybe it was the whole zombie thing,

my friend emily had this list on her blog.

with all the "lists" going around on email, facebook, etc.,

it's one of the few that i agree with every single one.

just wish i was clever enough to have come up with the list myself :)

really lovin' the bright spring colors right now.

even if the shirt isn't technically "bright".

*this little shop helped me put on 5 lbs this weekend.

the vaNIElla squared and raspberry lemonade cupcakes were my favorite.

my weakness for sweets is getting ridiculous.

*picked up this scrumdidaleeumptous this weekend.

i'm usually not much of a perfume kind of gal,

but i really like how this one doesn't smell very perfumie.

*love this site when i'm in a daydreaming mood.

the past 2 years the hubs and i have taken off for a week without the kiddos.

in april.

this year it's not happening and i'm craving a trip desperately.

*my friend opened this shop.

i have a good half dozen of these little beauts for lucy and love them.

i don't like mops.

i mop my floors, but not with a dirty sponge connected to the end of a stick.

blah.

doesn't do anything but smear the dirt and germs around.

i mop on my hands and knees.

always have.

that's why when i saw this guy i knew i'd found my soul mate.

happiness review

i mentioned here getting a box of happiness.

i've now had a few days to bask in said happiness

and have a review for all of you who care.

(and for my sweet hubs who pretends to care).

*fair warning-

these are not walmart happys and therefore not walmart prices.

however, i think the ones recommended are worth every penny.

you really do get what you pay for.

first up, this foundation.

i've been using this brand since last fall and i love it.

it's a lot of coverage,

so i'll switch to my second favorite, this, for the summer.

highly recommend both.

i usually do this for mascara and really like it,

but i wanted to try something new.

so i got this little duo and love both.

they almost make my lashes too long.

awesome stuff.

got a little sample pack of these 3 things.

they get a good, better, best rating.

this is good if you like creaseless shadows.

i'm not really a big fan of them.

this is better for a lid primer,

and while i like it, i like this one better.

this is best for concealer.

it does a really great job and has a good consistency.

it ties for first place with my other favorite concealer.

when i wear eyeliner, i love this bad boy in brown.

works much better than the cheap stuff

and almost as good as the really expensive stuff.

and before you start any of the above shenanigans, use this.

love love love it.

if you don't use a primer before you put on your makeup, start.

it really does make a big difference.

looks smoother and stays on through out the day much better.

day 12 mumblings

i am on day 12 of this damn head cold.

it has now moved from ridiculous amounts of sinus pressure,

to an extreme sore throat.

i take lucy in today for a follow up appointment with the doc.

she has the cold too, but it has turned into croup for her.

luckily it's not as bad as this time.

going to have the doc check my gag reflex.

thinking i may have strep.

seriously mother nature,

can we please get a break from all these nasty virus'

and keep some warm effing weather?

i get pissy when it's been almost 2 weeks of feeling like crap.

on a less grouchy note,

this dress is on sale right now.

it'd be super cute with a cropped cardigan.

so any of you looking for a cute summer dress,

that have an extra benjamin laying around,

go get it and then update me!

i do not have strep, just extreme virus 2011.

lucy is doing much better and only has

2 more days of steroids.
